On 28 February 2022, Oxfam in Timor-Leste presented its recommendations to the CEDAW Committee’s 83rd Pre-Session Working Group in Geneva. Oxfam shared information on women’s land rights in Timor-Leste to inform the Committee’s List of Issues for the Government of Timor-Leste to consider in the fourth periodic report of Timor-Leste. The aim was to make the government aware of women’s land rights in policy and law development.
