As Vietnamese southern farmers struggled with drought and saline intrusion, the country is yet hit with the COVID-19 pandemic. Facing a twofold crisis, smallholders proved that their sound preparedness and good collaborations could work wonders amid a shaken economy.
Since the inception of GRAISEA at the beginning of 2015, pilots in shrimp aquaculture were launched in Indonesia and Vietnam. One element of these projects is to connect with ongoing efforts to develop more sustainable methods in shrimp aquaculture.
In Cambodia, Oxfam and the GRAISEA programme, together with private companies and CSOs, set up the CSR Platform Cambodia to facilitate sharing of resources and best practices that can help businesses become more socially responsible.
